Types of Commercial Pressure Washers

Various types of commercial pressure washers are available on the market. There are many ways to classify pressure washing machines. For example, you can classify the machine based on the source of power. Or, you can group the machines based on the output temperature. This post provides an overview of the basic types of commercial pressure washers available at present.

Cold Water Machines
Non-heated machines are the basic type of pressure washing machines. Cold water machines do not contain a heating element and cannot produce heated output. These machines rely solely on output pressure for carrying out cleaning tasks. These are long-lasting and cost-effective. But, this equipment does not have the cleaning efficiency of other sophisticated models.

Hot Water Machines
These are perhaps the most widely used commercial pressure washers. These machines contain a heating element and provide an output temperature of up to 210°F. That is, hot water machines use both output temperature and output pressure for removing dirt and impurities.

Steam Machines
These are the most powerful commercial pressure washers. Steam pressure cleaners, like the Super Max™ 12840 provide an output temperature of up to 330°F. Many sophisticated models from Daimer® are equipped with tri-mode technology. Such machines can provide all three types of output: cold water, hot water, and steam.

Other Types
Pressure washer machines can be categorized based on power sources too. You have fuel powered pressure washers and electric pressure washers.
